I am not going to fuss about the BCS system determining a champion. I am not going to pitch the best commercial in the world for a college football playoff. Division 1A football, or FBS, is not going to go that route. However, I do want to fuss about the love fest that is called Hawaii. I really don’t care what Mark May, Lou Holtz, Kirk Herbstreit, and/or Lee Corso says about this football team deserving a BCS shot, the Warriors simply do not. There are a lot of reasons to support the argument that they do belong in a BCS bowl game. But look deeper and uncover the facts.
Have you heard the news? Barry Bonds finally got busted for steroids! Hallelujah! As an A’s and Dodgers’ fan, a Giants hater, and a guy who has tons of respect for the game, I was elated when the news first broke. But then the inevitable question was posed, and I was shocked hearing various opinions on TV. I wanted to scream, “Are you KIDDING me? Should Barry Bonds be in the Hall of Fame? YES!”
Week 15 NFL Power Rankings
Boy, was this a strange, and quite honestly, depressing week of professional football.
For starters, we saw virtually nothing out of stars like Terrell Owens, Chad Johnson, and Adrian Peterson. Yet, all three of their teams won without any significant contribution from them.
That is both strange and depressing. But, I guess for those three respective teams, also uplifting.
We also saw three NFC teams clinch their division and a playoff spot (Cowboys, Packers, and Seahawks) while we saw the Cardinals, Lions, Bears, and Eagles all do serious damage to their bids of making a run at the post season.
The question is, was there any good that came out of this week? Why, of course.
The New England Patriots, classlessness and all, stayed unbeaten, while the ever so classy Miami Dolphins found so many new ways to not win a game.
And with those few tidbits out of the way, here are your NFL power rankings for the coming week 15…
Since statistical information has always been considered in the public domain according to prior case law, it was a rather creative leap in legal gymnastics that MLB came up with in order to ward off other fantasy league owners, especially those who beat MLB to it.

Who goes where?
The baseball hot stove is heating up. Right now, you could see anything happen. There are plenty of teams that want pitching and hitting, but they will need to trade away good prospects. The main question that is on every GM’s mind is “Who goes where?”
Instead of wasting print space writing a super introduction, I’m going to go straight into the first annual Geico Burton DeWitt College Football Awards presented by State Farm underwritten by Prudential. And trust me, these awards mean a lot.
Week 14 2007 NFL Power Rankings
This was just one of those weeks where you know something was off. Something just wasn’t quite right. Naturally, it began with Thursday Night’s game with Green Bay at Dallas. Brett Favre ran away from the offensive game plan, ignoring the style of play that had gotten his Packers off to a 10-1 start, instead throwing two picks and completing only 5 of 14 passes before leaving the game for good in the second quarter.
I mean, really? Brett Favre. Hurt? And then comes in the odd man out, the guy no one has expected anything from, basically since he was drafted. Aaron Rodgers plays exceptional football and almost wins the game.
It’s a shortened week, so therefore a shortened IUD. It’s also the end of the regular season. I’m crying already…
The Portland Trailblazers are a team loaded with young talent that is on the rise like basketball fans in China, but the most impressive young talent on the team might be LaMarcus Aldridge.
