Take your pick: Chad or Vick
Two playoff contending teams, two young quarterbacks, two legacies to prove. Chad Pennington and Mike Vick are a duo of fiery youngsters with unlimited potential and boundless jubilance. Both men started their careers illustriously as Pennington led the Jets past the first round of the playoffs in 2002, and Vick revolutionized the definition of a playmaker, while earning his spot as the poster boy for the Madden cover.
Both quarterbacks also suffered the horrific fate that all rookie stars dread, injury. Having fully recovered from injuries that had them sidelined for most of last season, these young superstars are out to show the world they belong in football.
Two vastly different players with the same goal in mind, to win. The only question now: whom would you take, Pennington or Vick?

I’ll briefly analyze and rank all the divisions in the NFL, all the best players in the NFL, and tell you who I think will win it all in 2005.
Chances are that even if you’re relatively wet behind the ears you’ll have at least some recognition when I mention the game of chicken that James Dean and Corey Allen played in Rebel Without a Cause. In the film’s defining scene, Dean’s character Jim races Allen’s character Buzz off a cliff in the ultimate contest testing the machismo of the adolescents. In the end, Buzz goes down in a blaze of glory, while Jim, bruised ego and all, goes on to learn the error of his ways and along the way bags Natalie Wood and boosts the sale of under shirts by, like a billion percent. Good stuff.

As I’m sure we’ll all aware, the 2004 Athens Olympics are (somewhat surprisingly) underway on time. To me, the Olympics are still one of the most exciting and engrossing events of the year. They represent the highest level of competition in nearly every sport represented therein, and there’s someone to cheer for in every event. Hell, you don’t even have to understand the event you’re watching to become totally captivated by it.
