Update: So much for the credibility of Newsday. The arbitrator ruled that TO’s suspension was fair and that the Eagles have a right to deactivate him. I wish he had used the word “Keyshawn”.
Original report:
Here in cold, cold Philadelphia, we are hearing that TO’s four game suspension will be reduced by the arbitrator. More to come.
Newsday is reporting that the Eagles will release Owens. This report is highly suspicious and seems to be complete conjecture.

what a joke if this is true, it signifies the end of discipline and accountability in pro sports (we saw it last week in NCAA football). any player who feels he’s not getting enough money or playing time can force their way out regardless of contract. if the Eagles release T.O., I sure hope no other team gives him a big money long term deal.
I think TO’s suspension will be reduced but I’m not sure why the Eagles would release him.
we all knew this would happen By the way Vin, it should be “Cold, cold Philadelphia”
it’s so goddamn cold I couldn’t spare a comma.
