Week 10 NFL Picks

Last week was a tough week for us here at SC. We hovered right at .500 for the first time all season. Bills over Jets? Bears over Giants? Who knew. We promise to do better this week… unless of course, we don’t.

Locks of the Week

Vegas Vinny: I gotta go with the Eagles this week. They are fightin’ mad after last week’s debacle at Pittsburgh and will take it out on the “stupid” Cowboys. TO revisits the stadium that made him a star in the eyes of Eagles fans and celebrates 2 or 3 TDs. Eagles by 6.5? book it.

Mile High: This is another tough week when it comes to finding the best lock. We could see a letdown game with Pitt after knocking off the only two undefeated teams two weeks in a row. However, I will be taking Green Bay (-4) as they should be well-rested and are at home. Sure, Lambeau isn’t what it used to be, but the Vikings certainly aren’t the same team without Randy Moss. I’ll take the Pack in this one.

Guru Ganu: What is the over under on this game? 1,000? Seriously, neither team has a defense and a final score of 55-50 wouldn’t surprise me in the least. Of course that probably means a 9-6 punt-a-thon is on tap, if you take into account the way my locks have been going this year. Either way I don’t see either team winning this game by just one point. That said, I will take Seattle on the road, to win by more than one.

Mr. X: Since I stink so bad at this – my lock of the week Philadelphia. I don’t know the
spread. I just know they will crush Dallas so bad that any spread short of 15 points is free money. (Ed Note: line is Eagles -6.5 pts. )
