Sportscolumn.com FFL East Division Draft Results 2004

The EAST league draft has come to a close and it was a resounding success. 10 out of 10 owners were in attendance and the time flew by! Some highlights:

Top Pick

RB, L.Tomlinson, SD

Biggest Reaches

WR, Steve Smith, Car

(23rd Overall ahead of Hines Ward, Joe Horn to name a couple)

Steve Smith showed some things last year but Joe Horn and Hines Ward are proven fantasy studs. Have to question the reach here.

RB, Charlie Garner, TB

(42nd Overall ahead of Quentin Griffin, Chris Brown, Curtis Martin…)

Best Value

RB, Lee Suggs, Cle

(Round 8 – Could be a young star this season and at a crucial position)

TE, Jeremy Shockey, NYG

(Round 8 – We all hate him but this is a bargain this late)

One of the most retarded human beings on the face of the planet. Shockey slipped to round 8.

RB, Willis McGahee, Buf

(Round 13 – If Henry goes down this guy becomes first 3 round type pick)

RB, Deshaun Foster, Car

(Round 13 – If Davis goes down this guy becomes first 3 round type pick)

Mr.Irrelevant

WR, Donald Driver, GB

Even though Donald has had 14 broken necks he may be able to help Zepster this year!

Here are the results from the draft:

I can guarantee that Jeremy Shockey will never be on my FF team.  That guy IS the most retarded person on the planet.

I’m surprised McAllister went 3rd.  I think he’ll be limited this year because the Saints stink.
