We go from sea to shining sea in this article that gives random thoughts about the current state of college football.I can`t help but feel LSU got what they deserved. LSU should have lost to Arizona St. and Tennessee should have lost to LSU. I guess that is why we play football for sixty minutes.
I’m not completely sold on Michigan St. I know they look good right now. I’m already starting to hear Drew Stanton being mentioned in NEXT YEAR’S Heisman Poll. Can any responsible sportswriter do that? Everyone is saying how the Michigan game will be the “measuring stick” for Michigan St. I don’t know about that. I just can’t wait until they play Ohio St.
Speaking of Ohio St., WOW! Either Ohio St. is really good; Iowa is really bad, or both. My vote goes for both. Once again, Ohio St. uses Ted Ginn as a “distraction” to help other receivers get open against Iowa. (You hear me BigState12?)
Is anyone else annoyed when they see Georgia in the Top Ten? They barely beat South Carolina at home and haven’t played anyone tough yet.

Another team I can’t make up my mind about is Minnesota. Are they just teasing us again or are they for real? I couldn’t help but notice that Laurence Maroney is very ugly. At least he has something going for him.
Now that Cal is knocking on the door of the Top Ten I will have to comment on them. I don’t like them one bit. I see them as the fifth best team in the Pac-10 right now. We all will just have to wait until they play a decent team.
There are a lot of big games that are going to be played this weekend, but none are bigger than Iowa St. at Nebraska. This game could very well decide who gets blown out by Texas in the Big 12 Championship Game.
I refuse to bet against Florida St. I’ve lost forty dollars because of them beating Miami and Boston College. I don’t know how they are still undefeated, but I will not bet against them.

Don’t bash LSU It takes some nerve saying LSU got what it deserved considering all that the team (and the State) has had to recently endure. Poor taste.
Misunderstanding When I say LSU got what they deserved, I’m referring to how they beat Arizona St., not the hurricane.
I got it I understand what you meant which brings me to my point. You’re not a BAD person if you root against LSU or the Saints.

I got it too! I understood what you meant, but at the same time you must be sensitive to the situation and a phrase like "LSU got what it deserved." Maybe your write, but this is not the best way to state your point.
