24-3 | How long can the Suns keep winning? Not sure, but I’ll have a better idea after they match up with the Spurs tonight. |
| 2(4) | ![]() |
23-7 | Kobe vs. Shaq turned out to be pretty good. But the real deal is Dwayne Wade. He stole the show. |
| 3(2) | ![]() |
20-5 | Seattle have a 7-2 record vs. the Eastern Conference this year. Both losses were against the Celtics. They’ll be looking to improve upon that record with their next 7 games vs. the East. |
| 4(3) | ![]() |
22-6 | The Spurs boast the best home record at 13-1. Tonight they’ll face the best road team, the Phoenix Suns at 11-1. I know it’s a bad cliché but something’s gotta give. |
| 5(5) | ![]() |
16-10 | While Spree was out, Wally Szczerbiak stepped his game up. Now that Spree is back, Wally has continued his great play. That should help them get out of their semi funk they’ve been in. |
| 6(7) | ![]() |
18-10 | Usually a good home team, the Mavs have a better road record(10-4) than home record(8-6). Being that it’s still early in the season, that’s a good thing. |
| 7(6) | ![]() |
17-9 | The Kings currently are number 4 in the Western Conference. But without Bobby Jackson for 3 months, expect them to fall a few spots. |
| 8(10) | ![]() |
16-11 | Remember the Lebron vs. T-Mac games last year? Well their 1st meeting of this season is Wednesday. Should be another good one. |
| 9(8) | ![]() |
18-11 | The Wiz went 2-3 on their recent road trip. That’s a success considering they went to LAL, PHO, GS, SAC, and MIN. |
| 10(11) | ![]() |
15-11 | The Magic are currently giving up 101.1 ppg. I guess that explains why the Knicks dropped 119 on them the other day. |
| 11(9) | ![]() |
14-12 | Its obvious the Lakers are live or die depending on how well Kobe plays. Need proof? Kobe didn’t score a bucket after Shaq fouled out Saturday. Including overtime. |
| 12(13) | ![]() |
15-13 | With Jamal Crawford hurt, it seems like Allan Houston came back just at the right time. So that makes Stephon Marbury’s game that much more important. |
| 13(14) | ![]() |
13-13 | Will the Blazers go ahead and make their deal already. Maybe then we can talk about their actual basketball playing instead of their trade rumors. |
| 14(15) | ![]() |
14-12 | The Pistons won their revenge game Saturday vs. the Pacers rather easily. I would like to see more scoring from Rasheed, but I’ll take what I can get for now. |
| 15(15) | ![]() |
12-14 | One would assume that with Gary Payton on your team you would play a little better defense. Well you know what happens when one assumes. |
| 16(22) | ![]() |
13-13 | Its amazing that the Pacers are .500 at this point in the season. Now can Fred Jones and Jamal Tinsley keep up their great play with Jermaine O’Neal back in the lineup. |
| 17(12) | ![]() |
13-15 | It may seem unfair that Jeff Bzdelik was fired while his best player is hurt. But he could’ve and probably should’ve been fired when the Nuggets were struggling earlier this year. |
| 18(18) | ![]() |
13-14 | Why would the Rockets pickup 2 shooting guards in Wesley and Barry, when their biggest weakness is at the point guard position? Barry can handle the ball handling, but can he defend the Western Conference point guards? |
| 19(17) | ![]() |
13-17 | The Grizzlies are pretty much 100% healthy now and have a new coach. The excuses for the losses are about to become scarce. |
| 20(20) | ![]() |
9-16 | All it took was a 5 game winning to get Bulls fans talking playoffs. Seriously, they are only 2.5 games out of 8th place. And there is plenty of season left to make up that ground. Or dig a deeper hole. |
| 21(21) | ![]() |
12-14 | With his hot shooting recently, Allen Iverson has taken over the NBA scoring lead. He’ll probably hold on to that lead, since nobody else on that team is a legitimate scoring threat. |
| 22(19) | ![]() |
12-14 | The Clippers who had a great November are 3-8 so far in December. As much as I hate to say it, the same old Clippers are back. |
| 23(24) | ![]() |
9-17 | The Vince Carter era began with a loss and an injury scare. The good news Vince looked good while scoring 23 points in his Nets debut. |
| 24(27) | ![]() |
10-18 | The Warriors have won 3 in a row for the 1st time this season. Granted they beat Memphis and the Carmelo-less Nuggets, but you really can’t dispute their big win in Sacramento. |
| 25(23) | ![]() |
10-19 | With Jalen Rose going to the bench you have to wonder when if he’ll be traded soon. Not necessarily. He now has something to prove and has played pretty well coming off the bench. |
| 26(25) | ![]() |
11-17 | So much for thinking that Carlos Boozer was going to carry this team until Kirilenko got back. The Jazz are 3-11 since he was hurt and he isn’t supposed to return for another 2-3 weeks. |
| 27(28) | ![]() |
7-16 | Not only did the Bucks end the Bulls 5 game winning streak on Sunday, they ended their own 5 game skid. When Michael Redd gets hot, there isn’t much you can do. (Calling Kobe doesn’t count). |
| 28(26) | ![]() |
7-17 | The Cats have battled and fought in every game this year. To bad battling and fighting doesn’t exactly equal wins. But the future is bright. |
| 29(29) | ![]() |
5-21 | The Hawks are the worst basketball team in the city. Not only could Georgia Tech beat them, but Michael Vick and co. could beat them too. |
| 30(30) | ![]() |
2-25 | What’s worse, watching your team lose game after game or come back from injury and have to play out the rest of a wasted season? Baron Davis asked himself that question 6 times today. |
