This week’s Power Rankings are here. Look for the Power Rankings every Tuesday. I’ll try to
get them out before the Tuesday night games. Again all comments, concerns and beefs are
encouraged. Enjoy. Don’t forget the Poll.
| Rank(Pv) | Team | Record | Comment |
| 1(8) | ![]() |
9-2 | The Suns are scoring like this is the ABA. 107 ppg. It doesn’t get much more athletic than these guys. |
| 2(5) | ![]() |
8-3 | Shaq may be selling the tickets but Dwayne Wade is winning the games. |
| 3(1) | ![]() |
9-2 | Seattle didn’t lose the #1 spot because of 1 loss. They lost it because the top 2 teams looked better than they did. And that 1 loss. |
| 4(2) | ![]() |
8-3 | Just when I gave Ginobili some praise, he goes out and shoots 26% in the Spurs last 2 games. Both were losses. |
| 5(7) | ![]() |
6-3 | Kevin Garnett leads this team in Minutes, PPG, Steals, Blocks, and rebounds. He also sells popcorn and valet parks. |
| 6(4) | ![]() |
7-4 | Carlos Boozer was 2-10 in their loss to the winless Hornets. I assume that won’t happen against 0-9 Bulls Wed. night. |
| 7(3) | ![]() |
8-4 | Mavs fans would trade their injury bug for those Texas Killer bees. I guarantee it. |
| 8(9) | ![]() |
6-3 | In the shadow of Grant Hill and Steve Francis, rookie Dwight Howard has had double digit rebounding in every game. |
| 9(10) | ![]() |
6-4 | The Kings refuse to lose at home. Now if they could just straighten out that road record….. |
| 10(6) | ![]() |
7-3 | The people hurt the most by the fight Friday, weren’t in Detroit. It was the Pacer fans 300 miles away who are in pain. |
| 11(13) | ![]() |
6-5 | The Lakers can smell the top 10. If they beat the Kings Friday night, they’re in. |
| 12(11) | ![]() |
5-4 | I hate to say that the Champs benefited from the suspensions. So I won’t say it. |
| 13(16) | ![]() |
6-4 | Lebron was robbed last year in the All-star voting. He and Ilgauskas will be going this year. |
| 14(17) | ![]() |
5-5 | The Nuggets are starting to find their stride. We will see how they look Friday vs. the Spurs. |
| 15(15) | ![]() |
4-4 | The Celtics lead the division but are 7th in the Eastern Conference. Go figure. |
| 16(14) | ![]() |
6-6 | Is that chemistry I smell coming out of Houston? We’ll see at the end of this road trip. |
| 17(22) | ![]() |
5-6 | It looks like the Grizzlies are starting to put it together. Just in time because they don’t want to fall behind in the West. |
| 18(20) | ![]() |
5-6 | I bet nobody predicted that Rafer Alston would be leading this team in scoring and assists. Not even Miss Cleo. |
| 19(12) | ![]() |
5-6 | After a brief visit to above .500 land, the Clips are back in the Tar pits of below .500. |
| 20(21) | ![]() |
4-5 | When was the last time the Blazers went through a season without a trade? Smart money says the make another deal. |
| 21(23) | ![]() |
5-4 | Its official! The Wizards are on winning streak. This could be a playoff team. |
| 22(24) | ![]() |
4-5 | Jamal Crawford is making Isaiah look pretty smart. When Houston comes back they might surprise people. |
| 23(18) | ![]() |
3-5 | The Bucks have lost 4 straight with a back to back at the Lakers then Suns. Better make it six |
| 24(19) | ![]() |
4-6 | Without Iverson the 76ers looked tough. Get the feeling it was more luck than anything else? Me too. |
| 25(25) | ![]() |
2-7 | Antoine walker is leading his team in all the categories like Garnett. Without the wins. |
| 26(26) | ![]() |
2-7 | How bad do the Nets miss J. Kidd and K-Mart. They are averaging 81 ppg this season. I’d say pretty bad. |
| 27(28) | ![]() |
1-8 | These guys are competing. Need Proof? They have EIGHT guys in double figures. |
| 28(29) | ![]() |
1-8 | The Hornets have officially started their season. |
| 29(27) | ![]() |
2-8 | I bought into all that “Warriors Playoffs” talk in the beginning of the season. Silly me. |
| 30(30) | ![]() |
0-9 | The Chicago Bulls own the record for most wins in a Season. Is it possible they could get the record for the most losses? Ugh. |

SIXERS Have to be top 16 at minimum… My beloved SIXERS are at the bottom of the average teams?
And the CELTICS get 9 spots higher even though the SIXERS are in first in the ATLANTIC and have gone 2-0 vs. the Pierce’s so far?
Come on. Show some love baby! KYLE KORVER, AI, AI2…This team is just getting going…No they aren’t in the elite in the EAST but they’ll win the ATLANTIC…
you’re right where is the love! After a really bad start, this Sixers team is pretty exciting to watch. It’s maddening watching them lose to the Magic but they are good entertainment. They should win the division.
