Either this is an easy week to pick or we’re all walking into a trap. We all agree on 7 of the 14 game this weekend and have a consensus for most others. The only game we’re split on is the Falcons-Chargers, or what could be billed as Battle of the Potential Frauds. Both teams come in with good records but unimpressive games. We’ll see how it shakes out.

Locks of the Week
Guru Ganu: St. Loo over Tampa. Spottin’ em six. The one and only reason I am making this pick is to give myself a reason to watch Monday nights game. The Gru crew is scuffling and St. Loo is flying high after a big come back win in Seattle last week. My prediction? St. Loo cruises to victory and Gruden and Raiders East make a run at acquiring Jerry Rice by the trade deadline next week. A 42 year old wide out is exactly what the Bucs need to turn it around, don’t ya think?
Vegas Vinny: Did you know that the opening line for the Chiefs-Jaguars game was a pick em? Well, now it’s Chiefs -2. Either way, this is a great bet. In the past couple weeks Chiefs rediscovered how to win and the Jaguars rediscovered how to lose. I say this streak, like the Yankees owning the Red Sox, will continue. I’m taking the Chiefs in this one and hoping my personal Lock of the Week streak continues.
Mile High: My lock streak is over. Who knows if the Saints would have pulled out the victory if Chris Simms didn’t get hurt. Moving on to this week though…Minnesota (-3.5) is an offensive machine. However, their defense has had some trouble playing four quarters. This is one of those games where I think Brooks could throw 3-4 TDs…but Culpepper will probably throw 6. Take the Vikes on the road in this one.

anyway I can get on the pick list for next year? I don’t know how you pick the 4 people, but my ATS record is almost identical to their W-L record (a few games worse). I’m sure I can pick equally well SU as these guys. I know it is too late for this year, but next year.
