Here's one for all of you baseball freaks: I was listening to an audio rendition of "Emperors and Idiots" last night at work and I came across this little known fact: In 1947, Red Sox owner Tom Yawkey (who was drunk) and Yankees owner Larry MacPhail agreed in principle to trading Ted Williams to the Yankees for Joe Dimaggio and a little known catching prospect from Jersey named Yogi Berra.
