     This is going to be the most exciting division in the East. With the Bobcats now in Charlotte, it should make for a pretty interesting and surprising Southeast. It's also going to be a very exciting time in Florida as the new look Orlando Magic and Miami Heat are going to be battling it out for "Champions of the Sunshine State".

    The Central Division of the Eastern Conference. Always good teams in this division with players like Reggie Miller, Ben Wallace, Lebron James and Keith Van Horn. The Central is all but a lock down for the Pistons but there will be a few surprises in the back end of the standings. Let's get right to it.

First I will start off with the East Atlantic Division. There won't be many surprises this year out of the Atlantic but as they say, you never know.

  Monday morning, 2am, the news comes through over ESPNews that Ken Caminiti, a former NL MVP has passed away at the age of 41. Shocking news before even more shocking news that Christopher Reeves has also passed on. Two great people not living on this earth anymore. It's a shame that when you think of a man like Caminiti, 6 feet tall, 200 lbs, that you see this powerful athlete in tip top condition only to have his life taken away by a heart attack.

        The Olympics are long over and gone with. But the memory is still intact at how awful American basketball fans felt watching this years Olympic games. There were many things to talk about from doping scandals to a wrestler refusing to fight an Israeli wrestler, only to come into the match overweight. And you'd think with headliners like this that American people would forget all about basketball. But that's not the case.
