July Writing Contest and New Featured Writer

Hey folks, please congratulate Diane Grassi on becoming our latest featured writer. Diane has been contributing to the site for a while now, won a couple of writing contests, and provides a much needed serious viewpoint on sports on this site. Second, I see a bunch of new writers on the site so it's time for another monthly writing contest. Every story submitted (except Journals) will be eligible for the Monthly Writing Contest. Every member can give each story up to 5 points. She's been a featured writer for a couple of months now but I've never formally announced it. Please welcome Kris Pollina aka YankTank as our newest featured writer.  Despite being a Yankee fan, her columns were consistently great and she definitely deserves it.

2007 NFL Conference Championships Picks and Podcast

In many ways, the Conference Championship weekend is much much better than the Super Bowl itself. Usually we get great games. However according to vegas this year, it's not looking so great. We'll see if NE can cover those 14 points and if the Packers can cover the 7.
