Its the 2nd year in a row the Celtics have missed the playoffs. What has happened to this storied franchise? 16 NBA championships all time, but they can't make it into the playoffs two years in a row. Even though they are one of the worst teams in the league, ending the season with a horrid record of 25-57, star players Paul Pierce and Al Jefferson have guaranteed the playoffs for the 2007-2008 season. So what I'm asking myself is, what Celtics will we see next year, the dynasty from the 80's, or the car crash of the 2000's?

For those of you unfamiliar with the MLL (Major League Lacrosse), it is the premier outdoor lacrosse league in the US. It started in 2001 by founder Jake Steinfeld, owner of Body by Jake. The league currently has 2 conferences (Eastern and Western) with 10 teams. In the Eastern Conference the teams are the Boston Cannons, Long Island Lizards, New Jersey Pride, Philadelphia Barrage (defending 2006 Steinfeld Cup Champion), Rochester Rattlers, and the Washinton Bayhawks. The Western Conference Teams are the Denver Outlaws, Chicago Machine, San Francisco Dragons, and the Los Angeles Riptide. There are 12 games in a season. Now that you have a little knowledge about the MLL, here is my 2007 season preview.

There is question in Boston Bruins fans' minds right now, "Have the Bruins recovered from their New Years hangovers?" They have lost their first 2 games since the New Year began, both against the Toronto Maples Leafs, and lost the second game against the Leafs 10-2. It seems like the only thing coach Dave Lewis has done right in the past 2 games was not letting the Bruins players talk to the press after the horrid 10-2 loss. In this article, I will break down what the Bruins have to do to make 2007 a successful year.

Just when the Boston Celtics were starting to get hot, Paul Pierce got injured, for 3 weeks. The question in the minds of Boston fans is: What Now? Well the Celtics can not trade for Allen Iverson, who recently got traded to the Denver Nuggets, and there are no more than one or two star calibur players, including Pierce, on the Celtics. So what is going to happen over the next 3 long weeks? I've got the answers.
