Fantasy baseball insiders think they're so smart writing articles about Chris Shelton after he went on a streak praising him. Did anybody know Shelton was gonna have a streak. NO. The only reason I went through the trouble of drafting him was because he was mentioned as number 16 in the top 30 1st basemen in baseball in a sports illustrated I read. In fact, go back in time and you probably won't see an article about him on most fantasy sites until he hit his first or second homerun. Here's someone else they still haven't recognized.

Well, looks like the Powerball didn't pan out for us again.  Dog it, anyway. Maybe next time.  I don't know about you, but I don't have 146 million years to wait for the jackpot, so I'll take the next sure bet: winning at fantasy baseball.

I get a warm and fuzzy feeling this time of year.  Winter will be wrapping up it's tired-ass act soon, pitchers and catchers report to somewhere warmer than where we're at, and those beloved fantasy baseball magazines start popping up on newsstands, like pimples on the forehead our sporting culture.

If you obsessively and fanatically draft relief pitching you can win your fantasy league.

Repeat.

If you obsessively...you get the idea.

The average head to head fantasy league has seven pitcher slots.  Two are reserved for starting pitching while two are reserved for relief and three slots are left open.
Let's do a quick breakdown.

Who would have thought Carlos Delgado, fantasy stud, would be having such a terrible year? Not me, that's for sure! In fact, he's killing me but I am too afraid to drop his butt in hopes that he will be traded to the Dodgers in the coming weeks. Carlos is just one of many players whose trade could impact the fanatsy landscape and cause you to swim to the upper echelons of your fantasy league.

Here are ten players who will make or break your fantasy team this second half....

This week I wanted to wait until the weekend to breakdown the 4th of July edition of the Fantasy Sports Weekly. But first...

I had one of those fantasy weeks. Kevin Brown went on the Disabled List. All my starting pitchers had pitched on the final Sunday of the previous week so I had very little points on the SP side of things. The Philadelphia BURRELL's 8 game lead in my league is now down to 1 game over the 2nd place team.

Here are the standings... (If you care)
