March Writing Contest and New Featured Writer

She's been a featured writer for a couple of months now but I've never formally announced it. Please welcome Kris Pollina aka YankTank as our newest featured writer.  Despite being a Yankee fan, her columns were consistently great and she definitely deserves it.  

Second, it's been a while since we've had an official writing contest so I am officially kicking off the March writing contest.  Every story submitted (except Journals) will be eligible for the Monthly Writing Contest. Every member can give each story up to 5 points. (You can find the voting console in the right column of the story page) The winner for the month is the article with the most points at the end of the Voting Period. That's it! And no waiting around for updates form me, you can find the current standings here.
