If David Stern does not suspend the three officials who destroyed the fourth quarter of last night's Utah-San Antonio game then he has less testicular fortitude than I thought he did a week ago (and that's tough considering I think he had the equivalent of a pair of raisins swinging between those legs back then).  The Steve Javie-led crew robbed the Utah Jazz and the basketball viewing public of what should have been a great fourth quarter.

Last night the Spurs shot 25 free throws in the fourth quarter with Ginobili being the main beneficiary getting to the line 13 times.  On the flip side and I'm going off memory here, I believe Utah shot two free throws.  This is a Utah team that features one of the great penetrating point guards in Deron Willians.  It was completely absurd.  All you need to know is this.  Both Jerry Sloan and Derek Fisher got thrown out of the game.  These are two of the great gentleman of the NBA and the referees who looked to be on a complete power trip decided to show them door.

It is incredible how the Spurs have been the beneficiary of every break in this entire playoffs.  Between Bruce Bowen not being suspended for kneeing Steve Nash in the groin to Amare Stoudamire and Boris Diaw being suspended for Game 5 to last night's fourth quarter you can argue that no team in league history has caught more breaks.  It is completely absurd.  Something needs to be done to show that these playoffs aren't completely rigged in San Antonio's favor.......and it needs to happen before Game 5.
