Golden State. Wow.

Obviously it's easy to root for the underdog 8 seed over the team with a 67-15 record, but last night was the most exciting NBA game I've watched in a long time. You could feel how much the Warriors fans really wanted that game. After Baron Davis' steal and dunk to end the 3rd quarter, I thought the lid was going to blow off ORACLE.

And then it looked like Dallas, unfortunately, was going to pull away and send it 2-2 back to Texas, but the trio of Davis, Jackson, and J-Rich are fun to watch not only offensively, but I've never seen such effective pressure defense. With about 3mins left, Jason Terry gets pickpocketed but recovers the ball in the backcourt and is forced to pick up his dribble and call timeout.

I bet the Mavs wished the Clippers found a way in. Even though LA and GS were close record wise, their upset-ability is 10x different.

Good luck to Nellie and the Warriors.

They really are the only team in the Western Conference you can root for.  There's no reason to dislike the Warriors.
