Update [2006-5-5 22:55:26 by YanksWS96]:The Sabres/Senators put on a show in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.  The Sabres eventually won 7-6 in OT when Chris Drury drilled one past Ottawa goalie Ray Emery.

As a Sabres fan, I almost had a heart attack (but not really), and I'm only 21.  I was ready to accept a loss, but the Sabres kept battling back.

Down by 1 with under 2 minutes to go, Derek Roy ties the game with a shorthanded goal.  Ottawa's Brian Smolinski would give the Sens the lead back just seconds later.

But, Tim Connolly ties the game with 10 seconds left.  Drury wins it in OT after the Senators turn the puck over.

What an emotional roller coaster.  What a game.

GO SABRES!!!!!

I think I'm going to push the Sabres in the east. When are they going back to the blue & gold uniforms of Pat Lafontaine and Gilbert Perrault?
