And the bad news keeps coming

It was laregly expected, of course, but it's still sad news to hear that Jeff Bagwell has had to delay his comeback.

Fingers crossed that somehow, somewhere down the line – though truthfully one does not expect it to be this season, what with the insurance issues and all – Jeff is able to play again.  If for no other reason than to be able to get that last HR he needs to hit 450.  I'd like to think that based on all his stats he'll wind up in Cooperstown even if he never plays another game.  But notching that nice round number would be a mighty good thing.

Keep on slugging, Jeff.  We're behind you all the way!
