The Flyers have done it. They have liberated themselves from the bottom of the power rankings. A slight tweak to the formula finally puts Ottawa where they belong. While the top of the standings see no change. Where did you team end up this week? *Note: Power Rankings Formula is ((Points Earned/Points Possible) * Goal Differential per game + wins)

Comments
(1) 20-4-2 A good betting tip: Put the house on Ryan Miller winning at least the Veznia.
(2) 20-3-6 Reason number one they won't deal Jean-Sebastien Giguere: Ilya Bryzgalov keeps getting hurt.
(3) 20-7-0 Beware Anaheim... Jonathan Cheechoo is back.
(4) 17-5-3 Alexander Radulov has four goals in four games. Calder candidate anyone?
(8) 17-7-4 Four Words. Marian Hossa. Hart Trophy.
(5) 17-9-0 Marty Turco still looking rock solid.
(9) 15-7-3 The talk of the winter meetings will undoubtedly be where David Aebischer is going.
(15) 14-7-4 Good news for Detroit: St. Louis, Chicago and Columbus are in your division; you can't finish worse than second.
(16) 15-10-3 Eric Staal is one of the best young players in the game today.
(19) 14-9-2 Possibly the most overachieving team in the NHL, until you notice their goal differential is -1.
(12) 14-9-3 Viktor Kozlov is getting it done in the place of the injured Alexi Yashin. Maybe the Wangs did know what they were doing.
(6) 13-10-2 For all intensive purposes, the Northwest is a flat-foot tie. Their +1 goal differential may mean this lead is only temporary.
(10) 13-10-5 Fun Fact of the Week: Chad Kilger broke Al Iafrate's shot velocity record this week when Kilger blasted a 106.6 MPH shot. Yeah, block that, and if you survive, please come talk about your experience.
(11) 13-10-4 The Atlantic Division is separated by five points between first and fourth. The Rangers are in the thick of the hunt.
(17) 14-12-1 Just when you had the Sens figured out, they start winning again. 8-2-0 in their last ten has them over .500 for the first time this season.
(8) 13-11-2 They looked like they were going to walk the dog on the Northwest, then reality hit. In the Northwest, one loss can put you in the cellar.
(28) 12-10-2 The new Bruins motto, better late then never.
(14) 13-12-2 This is an APB on Vincent Lecavalier. If found, please return him to the Tampa Bay Lightning.
(20) 13-13-1 Hi, this is Roberto Luongo, if you have seen my teammates, please tell them to help me. I can't win games on my own.
(23) 12-10-2 Alex Tanguay said he was traded because of his poor playoff performance. Why is this news? I was starting to wonder if Tanguay was even still alive.
(26) 11-9-6 Brian Pothier at least knows what to do with the puck, pass it to Ovechkin. Don't worry Caps fans; the league found that Ovechkin's hit was legal.
(13) 12-12-2 It's got to be Theodore's fault. Noting else makes sense, or does it? Milan Hedjuk is the team's leading scorer with nine goals.
(11) 11-10-4 Marc-Andre Fleury is the leading East vote-getter. How?
(24) 10-12-2 Well, that surpasses the number of wins I had them at.
(21) 10-15-4 If you were rebuilding, then what was the point of signing Rob Blake?
(29) 9-15-0 Never fear Coyotes fans. Just two more months until Diamondback pitchers and catchers report.
(30) 8-15-4 Man, there must be a riot in Philly. They move out of the cellar of the power rankings, and Bobby Clarke is back. The only thing missing, the Eagles missing the playoffs.
(22) 8-15-5 Goaltending problems, scoring problems. You get the point. They're bad. Simply bad.
(25) 7-15-3 Good news for the Blues? Is there such a thing?
(27) 7-16-2 Sorry Hitch, even God himself can't save this team.
