What a difference a week makes! Last week, no one gave the Packers a chance to win their Monday night matchup against Carolina and this week, no one is willing to touch the Panthers with a ten foot pole. Meanwhile all of us are picking Green Bay to beat the Bears. But don't worry, there's plenty of games we still disagree on. Here are your Week 2 picks, served piping hot.

Locks of the Week

Vegas Vinny: The smart money this week is on the Colts. You know why? Because the Colts stomped all over the Titans in an early meeting last year and then went into their house and punked them again later. A late touchdown made that game look closer than it really was. As far as I can tell, both teams haven't done much to improve this year. So, learn from history and take the Colts this week. They're even getting 1.5 points.

Mile High: The Bolts are getting 3 from the J-E-T-S, JETS, JETS, JETS! Sure it's in Carmen Sandiego, but Pennington is looking very sharp. San Diego has one of the worst pass defenses in the league, and given Curtis Martin's fountain of youth performance last week, they will most likely look to stop the run. Christmas may have come early, so take the Jets (-3) in this one.

Guru Ganu: Cincy is 0-1 and doesn't have a D. Luckily Miami is coming to town and they don't have an O. Ricky left them high and high, and the Dolphins were in the vortex of despair to begin with. Miami is a mess, and will go down in flames on Sunday night football against the Bengals. The real question is whether or not Pat Summerall will be alert enough to give us any sort of passable play by play Sunday night. Doubt it, and I doubt the Dolphins will win this game.

Mr X: I am actually almost flabbergasted by VEGAS on this pick. I think early in the NFL season you can make some very nice coin as the lines are somewhat off based on the uncertainty on some teams. This year it appears VEGAS doesn't know if the JETS and BENGALS are for real or they just beat up on each other last week. I think they both are for real and I think MIAMI is one of the worst NFL teams ever assembled offensively. The Bengals will win this one in the neighborhood of 27-10 and will easily cover the 5 points that it currently stands as. (Up from 3.5 to open) So take the BENGALS (-5) to easily cover vs. the hapless Dolphins.

I won my office pool against the spread picking 12 of 16 games. How could I lose the straight pick em with only 50%? LOL...
