Let's face it, the real reason why that team will only win two games this year is beacuse outside of Moss and Sapp, who has any talent on that team? They were shotty from the start.

Parcells is probably going to stay in Dallas, if anyone goes it's O.T., Gibbes coaching the Giants would pretty much start World War Three.

Here's a good idea for a coach, Dom Capers. Sure, the last season in Houston wasn't exactly what you would call awful, but he did have the Texans on the right path, along with taking the Panthers to one game from the Superbowl. Imagine what he can do with real talent. I'm sure that the Dolphins, if they don't fire Sabin, will allow Capers to go to New York.

I would not be so sure of Bill Parcells staying. Not because of Terrible Owens, but because he has a history of only staying with a team for four to five years. He jumped around from the Giants, Jets, and Patriots after that long so I would not be suprised if he hung it up. A few coaches you did not mention who i believe are better than most you did are; Mike Sherman, Jim Haslett, Mike Tice, and Mike Martz. Sherman did not draft or sign players well, but he was a good football coach. Haslett and Tice are both good coaches in my mind too. Martz has a great offensive mind, but should never be a head coach again. Only an offensive coordinator.

I thought for sure that Parcells was gone (#3)

If you looked at his facial expressions during their meltdown phase of the season (seems every team in the NFC had one) it seemed like he was totally exasperated and done.  Now I'm not so sure.  I think TO is out (where will he end up?... again)  and Parcells comes back for another year.

Mike Tice was one of the worst head coaches in the history of the game.  He is a perfect position coach but not HC material.  I have no idea why Red McCombs thought otherwise.

Jim Mora Jr and Romeo Crennel will be fired next week.

Please don't say that (#4)

If Crennel is fired then Tressel might take that job.  I would end up killing myself.  He is the real reason for these Buckeye Championships and current 5 game bowl win streak.  And out of those , 4 were BCS bowls.  Please stay Tressel.

Tressel (#5)
by Trevor on Mon Jan 01 2007 at 6:17 PM EST
I don't think he'd go anywhere.  Going from The Ohio State University to the Cleveland Browns would be a step down in terms of prestigious coaching jobs in the state of Ohio.  Unless Cleveland backed up the truck and threw more money at Tressel than he could resist, I can't see him leaving.

Thank you for mentioning names that I skipped over. I also skipped over Dom Capers, which is something I should never have done. You are right about Martz. I honestly do not know about Tice, Sherman, or Haslett being head coaches again. Forget Saban.
