Locks with Unlimited Keys (#1)
by pfare on Wed Dec 13 2006 at 1:02 PM EST
i don't believe any of you guys' locks are indeed locks. i think vegas vinny is the only one that has a lock that might come through. Boston Mac and Trev are crazy. the Dolphins are not going to lose to the bills. and the Jags are primed to be the most dangerous team in the playoffs. i would never take the titans. i've been tracking you guys' picks for awhile and i just was unhappy with yours this week. no hate on you personally i just think your locks need a little more work.

at least I got a vote of confidence....

Trevor has been leading the locks all year but I think his pick is a little out there.  As I said on the podcast, the Jaguars ran all over the Colts who are ranked dead last in rushing defense.  And what is Tenn ranked?  #28.  It could get ugly.

I honestly think right now they are a better team than the Jags.  Ever since Vince Young has taken over they have been a completely different team.  Jacksonville is know to follow up big wins with gut shot losses.  They do it again this week.

Haha, I knew it! C'mon Trevor what kind of homer are you?? Still got a chance...Zona at home next week, then at Denver against Cutler (who's not THAT good...). And Seattle playes SD next week and then anything can happen in Tampa in the final week!! Niners could finish tied 8-8 with Seattle and then we're in!!

Anyone see Alex Smith tonight? Damn.

The 49ers (#5)

I can't believe we won last night.  You're right.  Zona should be a win next week and Seattle is definitely losing to San Diego next week.  The problem is they play Tampa Bay in the season finale.  That being said, if Dallas beats Atlanta, the 49ers will only be a game out of wild card contention with a much easier last two games than the rest of the contenders.

If they would've beat Green Bay, we could've talked. As awful they look and as quickly as they're going to go out in January, Seattle is not going to lose out and blow that division. Or will they? I hate effing football right now. Go hockey!

Oh, can't wait to talk some more football with you guys next week. (expletive deleted--I'm trying to cut back)

Forget about the Niners.  That game's over and I picked dumb Seattle for my department pool.

But going on to the Monday Night Game - and BTW, it was a funny funny week 15 podcast.  And I like that fact that even though you guys don't pick against the spreads but at least you do provide guidance about the points.

I think the Colts should all get together and petition that if they win this game, Dungy shaves off his feminine pencil-thin mustache.  If they loose, then all the players will grow one just like it.  It's going to be a very exciting Monday night game.

And Go Go Go Philly.  I always said McNabb was a BUST.  See how good Garcia is doing?
