great column. i was at that game too, t makes me sick how stupid fans can be. i've never been able to figure out new yorkers insistance on hating a-rod either.

they did the same thing with mantle (#4)

obviously i wasn't alive, but it's not like this is new news in new york. it's happened before, it's happening now, and i'm sure it will happen again. for a-rod's sake he should hope somebody like roger maris comes along to steal his spotlight.
