Jemele Hill wrote a rebuttal article to Scoops why it is going to be Kobe who wins for all the wrong reasons. I voted for you, but I think that he is going to win anyway as a lifetime achievement award, like Karl Malone.  People dislike Kobe for other things than being a bad husband.  He is also a world class a-hole, bad teammate (trade me-trade me not, shaq, doesn't trust his teammates), and very egotistical.  
One note on him making them a contender, um Pau Gasol did that. Not Kobe.
Lastly, whoever wins the top seed is winning the MVP, and the Lakers just did, so congrats.  I'm actually happy that he is winning this way instead of being awarded it the way Jordan was with no questions.  This way it is like giving him the award for feeling bad, like Little League and the Oscars.
