My arguments (#1)
by Flemish American on Sun Apr 06 2008 at 6:12 AM EST
  1.  March Madness - I completely disagree as it should happen sometimes.  Davidson and some others had their fun, but to once have all top seeds there is a great thing and the semi-final games showed us why.  Fantastic basketball.

  2.  Besides the fact you mis-spelled Kobe's name (unless you did it on purpose), you overlook the fact that the argument for the best player always is part of basketball and, only in the time of Michael Jordan was there a clear choice.  MVP -vs- Best?  Yeah, it's a grey area, but it remains a favourite topic in the NBA.

  3.  If the Cowboys have proven anything with Randy Moss it's that they can take a troubled player and turn him into a team asset.  "Pacman" has some issues, but if anyone can get their money's worth out of him it is the organization in Dallas.

I can live with the rest of your rant, but these deserved rebuttals.

Opinions are opinions, so it's easy to see you and anyone else not always agreeing with a "rant" of mine. But at least make the allegations make sense.

In no real way is a all #1 seed Final Four good for college basketball. The fact that it had never happened was a testament to the difficulty of the tournament and the under dog teams that are in it.

All four teams making it to the end killed the dream of true Cinderellas and upsets that we love to watch for.

Everyone that knows what is good for sports almost cried when Jason Richards missed that three pointer against Kansas. Believe that.

Also, if I had an error in spelling, I'm sorry. But if you're going to talk about spelling, at least spell favorite correctly. This isn't Britain.

Oh, and the Cowboys don't have Randy Moss and never have. That would be Terrell Owens you're thinking of.

We use UK spelling for English like the rest of the world.  Not my fault the U.S. always takes it's own course.

Randy Moss was my brain-fart...fair enough.

In case you didn't notice, I voted FOR your article before you became hostile.

P.S.  My favourite colour is blue when in the loo, but red in the que.  LOL

I wasn't actually trying to take a shot at you or your country. I was just kidding with the language (colour/favourite).

But if you took any offense, I apologize. Thanks for reading.
