The Bears....

Are such a slam dunk this week. I mean... you look at Griese's stats, and you wonder why he hasn't been given a legit run with another franchise since he left Denver. The Dolphins should of really just handed him the keys, considering their Q.B. quagmire, including A.J. Feeley and the Ghost of Daunte Culpepper, now the petrified shell of Trent Green, after he left. The main thing is, I'm a Griese fan. He was a monster for Tampa Bay back in '04, yet nobody seemed to care. He got injured in '05, which was a bad break. When the Bears signed him that off-season, I thought they were just going to give him the job. Anyway, this move is long overdue. Griese is the perfect Q.B. for this team, he'll protect the ball, have a high completion percentage, and even make a few plays. You know, I've noticed a real crappy trend in sports lately, where everyone sucks. A guy has one bad year? He sucks. A guy has flaws? He sucks. It's crazy. I've actually heard people say " Griese sucks". Well, he doesn't. It's a Bill Simmons thing. He'll go from praising a guy to using him as lame joke fodder in a span of a couple of months. It's short attention span bullshit, really. Anyway, rant over. Griese's good. That's it.
