A great historical perspective. If you haven't already, you should check out a podcast called "Baseball Historian" in iTunes. There is a re-broadcast of a Yankees WS game that Barber announces part of (I think the middle innings), and it's brilliant. Unfortunately, they cleaned out the archives so some other Barber interviews are gone, but hopefully will be back in the feed sometime soon. I remember one where he talked about Jackie Robinson, and he said he was just mainly doing his job to announce the games and it wasn't his place to complain about anything. True professional.

Also, there is audio available on the internet of Vin Scully's call of the ninth inning of Sandy Koufax's perfect game, which is also brilliant. check it out if you ever get a chance.

Now that I'm done rambling, should we vote for this or wait?
