He would definitely have won the Triple Crown.  The fact he finished that race in third with a broken leg is still astonishing.  Probably the best horse at least I have ever witnessed (granted I've never been alive when a Triple Crown actually happened).

I remember hammering him in the Preakness.  Won some nice cash that day.
