San Diego -
They have a lot of things going for them, but I'm not sold on Rivers (he sucked more than he was good last year) nor the secondary. Plus they had a bad break up with Shottenheimer, as well as the loss of Cameron and Phillips. This team looks shaky right now.
Prediction: 8-8 (2nd, AFC West)
Denver -
They're going in the right direction, and the acquisition(s) of Bly and Travis Henry are upgrades over Darrent Williams and Tatum Bell. Cutler looked clueless at first, but he improved as the year progress. He has the arm and demeanour that Jake Plummer never had, and I look for winning ways from this team next year. The offense should be more aggressive, and the defense is excellent.
Prediction 11-5 (1st, AFC West)
Kansas City -
Damon Huard isn't all that, but neither was Trent Green. Huard is smart and he distributes the ball well enough. Larry Johnson is the key to the offense. If he's hurt this is a 7-win team. The defense doesn't scare anyone, but the coach will keep them competitive.
Prediction 8-8 (3rd, AFC West)
Oakland -
Please. Jamarcus Russell has a great arm and physical skills but this guy is not even close to being ready for the NFL. McCown under center is barely an upgrade over garbage Aaron Brooks. They signed underachieving bust wideout Mike Williams... this team is going nowhere fast.
Prediction 3-13 (Dead last, AFC West)
