Giants (#5)

You are right on with the Giants.  They do need a LB, CB, OT along with help at the wideout spot for Eli.  The Giants may want to think about getting a quick back as well to complement their big backs.

The Giants could go a ton of different directions, but that is mainly because they will be an awful football team next season.  They have as good a chance as any to end up with the pick that turns into Darren McFadden.

My question... (#6)

with the Giants is why did they not sign any of the free agents out there that could have filled their CB and LB spots? Guys like Nate Clemens and Adalius Thomas are guys they they should have been going for. I just have no idea what they are doing right now. Beleive it or not, I'm feeling good with what they have at RB right now. I think Brandon Jacobs can be a very good back and more than just a short yardage back. I think this is a make or break season for Eli Manning. If he doesn't play well New York fans are going to run him out of here along with Tom Coughlin. I'm not really sure what is in store for next season.

The Giants didn't sign Clements because the Niners kick ass and signed him first! bwahaha (so continues the impressive 49er ressurection)

.....I can't wait to hear Mr. Diec, Mr. Warner, and Mr. McGowan's response when I pick the 49ers to win the NFC in our first preseason podcast.  For the first time in years, I can't wait for 49er football to start.

I have no idea.  I completely agree with you.  The Giants should have been all over both those guys like a cheap suit.  Nick Harper or Jason David would have made sense as well.  The New York Football Giants should also be seeing if they can swing a deal with Chicago for Lance Briggs.

It seems to me that the new GM is content to stink up the joint this season and go for a high draft pick.  He can blame the current mess on Coughlin/Accorsi.
