I don't think I can ever ease up on the yankees. Ever. The 90's were too traumatizing. Anyway we obviously have different feelings here but I have to say that the choke in 2004 wasn't just worse because it was the Yankees. It was that a choke like that never happened in baseball history. The fact that it was the Yannkees just made it oh so sweeter. No matter how you slice it, the Mets' choke just doesn't match up to the Yankees choke or the '64 Phillies choke. It is just a bad choke. The Yankees choke is a historical that will never be surpassed. The real animosity I had towards the article was in the title and how you said the torch was passed. I just don't beleive the Mets had a worse choke than the Yanks. Oh and by the way, the arrogance point, of course Mets fans taunted the Yankee fans. What do you think you guys did throughout the past decade. And like I said Yankee fans are douchebags so the making fun of your 14 game deficit is justified.
