I am a close family friend of Mr. Buster Olney. I enjoy reading sports articles by various authors on this webpage, as well as Mr. Olney's work. I contacted Mr. Olney regarding what seemed to be a great article. Buster read this article and quickly implied to me that a percentage of this article was poorly referenced and not properly cited, to give credit to the ones who made it.

This matter will be taken extremely seriously if the proper changes are not made to this article. Please do not make this issue more drastic then it needs to be.

It is understandable that you may have many questions about our accusations. Please contact me on this commenting page, using your proper username.

Plagarized? I'm sorry has Buster Olney wrote anything other than he thinks it might be a good move. Did he say that it was in any way resembling moves the Yankees have made? Did he cite any kind of way the Drew signing hurt the Red Sox? No, he reported that the Red Sox were interested in acquiring Helton, which the Sporting News.com also did (might I add) and Fox.com also did.

Of course an idiot, like your friend who stepped away from the computer, might think that because two people talk about the same thing that it's instantly plagarization. what a moron.

Contact Buster all you like, I don't plagarize anyone's work. I have my own opinions. Hell for that matter, maybe he plagarized me.
