Trevor, you never disappoint... (#3)

always great stuff...a few more I can add...

  1. When I was in L.A. around the time the Lakers were opening their season, I did not see a Tent City called "Phil-ville" around the Staples Center in anticipation. I just saw a homeless guy.

  2. I never once heard in my life "I need your NBA Brackets by noon on Thursday"

  3. Speaking of noon on Thursday, how many man-hours have the NBA caused companies to lose compared to the third thurs-fri every march? (Which reminds me, I better get a vacation slip filled out). I never think...ooh I better call in sick for Game 2 of Jazz/Nuggets.

  4. That Gonzaga-Arizona game a few years ago. I remember that more than just about any NBA game and that was a SECOND ROUND game in the tourney.

Outstanding (#4)

I loved #1!  I wish I would have thought of that as one of the reasons.

The greatest thing about that Gonzaga-Arizona game was the look on Dan Rather's face when they made him cut in between the first and second overtime to talk about the Iraq war.  It was a "you are not seriously asking me to do this right now" face.  It was outstanding.  I think he was watching the game and was just appalled at the timing.

"No, cause it ain't sh*t. Ain't nothing but 10 grand. What's 10 grand to me? Ain't sh*t ... Next time I might shake my d*ck." --Randy Moss
