if student-athletes started to get paid I would not watch college sports ever again. Maybe it's not as pure as it used to be, but that is one of the appeals of college sports. Playing for your university and the passion that comes with it. I still love it when i see athletes leading their fight songs with the fans. It's what college sports is all about.
