by the way, belligerently doesn't have an 'a' in it and the all sports teams are groups of people...don't need to refer to the Red Sox as a singular, you would do it, "a player on the Red Sox,"
But I stand by my violent aversion to a team not having a singular form. I mean, there's "Who's your favorite Yankee" and "Who's your favorite Red Sock?"
Agreed-it's important to honor the Yankee stigma, but if we never parlayed this into being lunatics, then we're not being real Bomber fans. [ Parent ]
For the record, I find nothing wrong with rooting AGAINST teams. I guess that's what makes me a philly fan and not a ny one. Well, that and not jumping on and off bandwagons. [ Parent ]
