Nice. Good article, and I agree that it is terrible to cheat by enhancing or altering your play with a foreing substance, but Rogers washed whatever was on his hands, off, and still pitched 7 more shutout innings and allowed just 1 more hit. So, when the Cardinal batter complain that his pitches were moving strangely, could it be simply because he dominated them?

I totally agree with you. I am using Rogers as a scapegoat here for my frustration with baseball continuing to shoot itself in the foot.

First of all, none of us knows anything yet. All we know is that something was on his hand and with baseball's image of a game where there have been cheaters it certainly leaves us with a lot of doubt that Kenny did nothing wrong.

Next, I think Rogers has pitched amazing and Larussa did the right thing saying that he wouldn't take away anything when a player does something great. Rogers deserves to be applauded for how well he has pitched and he has certainly been instrumental in all of Detroits success. All I can do is sit here and hope that he proves me and the world wrong. God knows that's what we all would want...
