We can all congratulate Detroit on their World Series win which is inevitable. The Tigers are going to have over a week to reset their rotation.  Plus and this is especially true if the Cards pull it out............they are superior to the two National League teams.

I believe the Chicago-Houston World Series drew an average of an 11 rating last year which is less than preseason NFL football, reruns of "Without a Trace", and new episodes of "According to Jim".  Dare I say that a matchup of the Motor City and St. Louis will do even worse than that.  That's good news for baseball though.  Who cares that an Oakland-New York Mets series would have actually been a World Series that people care about?
