I voted for the article because it's well written and looks at issues outside of sports that affect sports. However, it's a little hyperbolic to say that the NFL season has been 'decimated' by tragedy. Players have died before, and disasters have occurred, yet the NFL season endures and thrives. I can't think of a season where a tragedy was the major story of the season, and this season will be no different.
