'Toine is a loser, plain and simple (#1)

The few Celtics fans I know were so excited about Antoine Walker's return to the lineup but I knew it would hurt them in the end.  The problem with Toine is that he loves the big three.  He's a big man who shoots 29% from three point land but gets such a huge ovation that he think's he's doing the team a great service.

I've seen it numerous times of course, he buries the long range jumper and the fans go nuts.  But more often than not, his shot clanks off the rim and he is either causing them to lose momentum or he is keeping them from coming back in a game.  Then he looks as if someone mugged him and pleads for ...well.. something. Because he doesn't get fouled on that three.  He is usually all alone.  He just misses them.  And then he looks like he's going to cry like a little girl.

If Walker were on my team, I'd pick a new one.

most importantly... (#2)

If you ask me, Vin, the worst thing about a missed three, almost always the result when Antoine shoots them, is that probably 70% of the time, they lead to a fast break for the opposing team. Then it becomes a 5-point swing. Not a good thing.
One thing not many people realize, though is that Antoine is a real class act. He gets booed more than any other Boston athlete, but whenever he's asked questions, he always takes it like a man and answers them politely. You really don't get many athletes like that.
His game is maddening, but he's a real good guy off the court. Very misunderstood.

cause everyone outside of boston HATES him.  I think  it has to do with the shimmy shake.
