Perhaps not such a formality I was listening to RJ Bell of http://www.pregame.com on the radio yesterday afternoon, and according to the Las Vegas odds, New England is an 82% favorite to win the Super Bowl.

There is still hope out there for Giants fans! :)

Enjoy the game!

Choke vs Upset Great stuff. Just in time for the February writing contest. :)

If the Giants win, it will be the biggest CHOKE in the history of football and not the biggest upset. The reason is because the Patriots are too good and the Giants are too flawed.

In order to be the greatest upset, the Patriots would have to play a great game and the Giants would have to play a perfect game. (See Georgetown vs Villanova - the Hoyas didn't play poorly, the Wildcats just played the perfect college basketball game in history. That's why it's always remembered as the greatest upset and not the greatest choke.) Unfortunately for you Giants fans, if the Patriots play a great game, there's no way the Giants win. They are just overmatched.

Sorry sorry sorry I meant to write Super Bowl 36, not 32. As such, yes I was a junior in college (26 now). And my sister dated the SON of one of the guys on the 69 team! I can understand why you'd be confused though...

Age of the writer Great article, although I'm still trying to figure out the age of the writer. You were a Junior in college 10 years ago, but you had a sister who dated a player on the '69 Jets? The calculator in my head blew out trying to figure that one out.
